We were extremely pleased to be invited to participate in the popular wine podcast of Israel www.WineIsBasic.com, regarding wine and wine tourism in Greece.

Israel has over 300 wineries, from tiny garagistes producing several hundred bottles a year to large commercial wineries producing millions of bottles of every variety and in every region. In between are numerous boutiques fulfilling the vision of the winemaker and the principal. Israel’s wines are among the most remarkable in the world.

We talked with our terrific hosts Guy Haran and Roni Saslov about the two countries and their wine ties, the commonalities they have in the tradition of wine, cultivation and bottling. We shared information about the Greek terroirs, the greek wines and the wine tourism in Greece for the wine lovers.

Guy Haran also is the writer of Wine Journey-An Israel Adventure, which refers to all the important information for tourists and wine lovers presented in a user-friendly format about Israel wines and wineries.
