The Achaia Clauss winery was founded in 1861 by Gustav Clauss who, enchanted by the fertility of the Achaian land and the quality of its vineyards, put his passion and talent to established a whole estate.
The Château gradually became one of the most historical and emblematic homes in Greece for legendary wines, like the sweet Mavrodaphne and the renowned Demestica that won fame and notoriety by wine connoisseurs all over the world.
The Wine Connoisseurs, among others, has the exclusive privilege to offer wine tastings in the famous cave cellars of Achaia Clauss or its founder’s private villa, nowadays operating as a museum and VIP room tasting.

After living a sole wine experience at the Château, drive to coastal picturesque villages to enjoy a gourmet meal accompanied with the sound of the waves and the feeling of the sea breeze.
Tasting Greek flavors, like fresh fried fishes or calamari, stuffed zucchini flowers and kayana (scrambled eggs with tomatoes) while you discover the aromas and flavors of local awarded wines.
Laidback and enjoy coffee offered with traditional treat “loukoumi”. Greek loukoumi, these delectable, soft little squares of sweet flavor coated in powdered sugar are the gourmet symbol of Patra.
