The city of Athens was named after the ancient Goddess when she offered an olive tree as a gift to human beings. The olive tree was considered so valuable that they made the Goddess, the patroness of the city.

Greece has 19 P.D.O. zones (Protected Designation of Origin) & 12 P.G.I. zones (Protected Geographical Indication)

Kolymvari P.D.O- Chania, Crete
This extra virgin olive oil is made using the Koroneiki & Tsounati olive varieties. The climate & soil conditions are ideal for the cultivation of the olives.

Kalamata P.D.O- Messinia, Peloponnese
This olive oil is closely linked to the history, traditions, and culture of the region of Messinia & the southwestern part of the Peloponnese. This extra virgin olive oil is produced mainly from Koroneiki olives, with a maximum of 5% of Mastoeidis olives.

Kefalonia  Ionian Islands

This extra-virgin olive oil is made on Kefalonia island in the Ionian Sea. It has a recognizable green color, high viscosity & a bitter taste which softens over time & becomes fruity.
